I have been at Greater Omaha for 32 years and counting and one of my favorite things about working here is the diverse culture. The people here represent many different countries, cultures, and languages and we all learn from one another. I like the fact we can bring somebody in with no experience and teach them skills they can actually turn into a career if they put in the effort, that is the most rewarding part of this job.
When you are passionate about what you do and the company you work for, it's easy to give 100% every day because you know you are a part of something great. I have been working at Greater Omaha Packing for more than 24 years and love the energy I get when coming to work each day - it's like being a part of a big family. Greater Omaha has given me opportunities to develop my career over the years, rewarding my hard work with promotions and pride. I love what I do and can't wait for the endless possibilities GOP has for me in the future.
When I first started, I was impressed by the diversity of the HR team and saw how important it was. My favorite part of my job is helping find new ways that Greater Omaha can encourage individuals to discover, learn, grow and lead together. I’ve been a part of helping launch our on-site classes, our new tuition reimbursement program, and administer our daycare assistance program. I love that our organization looks out for the best interest of our team members AND their families. I strongly believe that Greater Omaha is an excellent place to work!”
I love my job and this company. I am encouraged to set goals and be my own person. As part of the Human Resource team, my vision is to develop a culture where people who come to work here, want to stay and grow their careers. We are a large company recognizing everyone as individuals. We make sure each employee feels as proud to be working for this company as we are to have them as employees. My goal is to make this the right fit for everyone.”
